Longing for God: Anglicans
Talk About Revelation, Nature, Culture and Authority, The Primate’s Theological Commission, Anglican Book Centre, 2001. A range of positions are
presented. Of particular interest to this theme are the first and last sections
of the book, "Revelation" and "Authority".
This book highlights very well the lack of agreement on Christian basics which
lies at the heart of the debate on human sexuality. This book should be
available in every parish.
Michael Marshall, Renewal
in Worship, Anglican Book Centre, Toronto, 1982. Of particular
interest to the theme is Chapter 7: “Receiving the Word of God”
Michael Ingham, Mansions
of the Spirit, Anglican Book Centre, Toronto, 1997. Chapter 4:
“Christian Exclusivism” expresses the author’s thinking on scriptural
authority.
